Cleveland, Ohio, January 7, 2009 - More than 40 local association executives ironically met face-to-face at the January 7 Greater Cleveland Society of Association Executives (GCSAE) meeting at the Crowne Plaza Cleveland City Centre to learn how they can communicate better with their various audiences through social media. Bob Coppenhaver, Former Director of Product Management and Marketing for Honeywell, discussed the benefits of using social networking to share information with your members and employees, expand your business and personal network, and especially reach young professionals. He specifically discussed LinkedIn because of his familiarity with it, while acknowledging there are other free tools available that any person or organization can use to address these issues.
As usual, the program was followed by a question and answer session and exchange by members in attendance of their experiences, practices and ideas.
