Program Description:  Plan to attend the GCSAE Kickoff Networking Meeting for a fun, informative event while enjoying the view of Cleveland’s skyline with hors d’oeuvres and beverages from the patio at the Edgewater Yacht Club.   It will feature guest speaker David Gilbert, President and CEO of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission. David will discuss upcoming amateur sporting events that will have a significant economic impact on our region as well as what the future may hold with the alliance of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and Positively Cleveland.

Speaker bio:  David E. Gilbert is President & CEO of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, whose goal is to make Greater Cleveland the nation’s foremost destination for amateur sporting events and activities. The organization is responsible for attracting, promoting and managing major amateur athletic events and to create sporting opportunities for youth and amateur athletes.

Target Audience:  All association and industry partner executives and staff members.

This seminar qualifies for 1 CAE and CMP credit.

Edgewater Yacht Club is located at the Edgewater Park Exit of Cleveland's West Memorial Shoreway (Rt. 2), west of downtown Cleveland between the exit for West 25th & the Clifton Blvd. exit/entrance.  Upon entering the parking lot, mention you are with GCSAE at the small guard station. 

Advance Registration: $30.00 for members, $45.00 for non-members

Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the event. Cancellation after that time will be billed for the full registration fee.
